The Playroom Academy uses a patent applied teaching method that is designed to ensure that students get the most out of their lessons and practice time. They are dedicated to offering easy to understand lessons that will provide students with proficient musical knowledge using a method that students of all ages can appreciate and benefit from. Lessons will be offered in all traditional band and orchestral instruments along with guitar, bass, vocals, piano, drums, mandolin and banjo. Baxter Village Fall Festival November 7, 2009

Please Join Us This Saturday for some fun!

The Carolina Realty Team will have a booth at the Fall Festival this Saturday from 12-6.  The festival is located on Market Street in the Baxter Village Community.

Also, we will be a drop off location for the Cell Phones for Soldiers program. Please bring your unused cell phones that you are no longer using. The proceeds from donating the phones will be used to purchase calling cards for our troops so they can stay connected with their families.

Building a Home in Fort Mill SC

On Tuesday, August, 18, Steve Risser and his Business Associate from Evans Coghill Homes gave our team a presentation on building a home using “Green Practices”.

Steve went over the three elements that benefit the homes that Evans Coghill Homes build.

Have You Taken Advantage of the First Time Home Owner’s Tax Credit?

The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 authorizes a tax credit of up to $8,000 for qualified first-time home buyers purchasing a principal residence on or after January 1, 2009 and before December 1, 2009. First-time home owners in Fort Mill, Rock Hill, and Lake Wylie should be taking advantage of this tax credit. You must  not have owned a principal residence during the three-year period prior to the purchase. Single taxpayers with incomes up to $75,000 and married couples with incomes up to $150,000 qualify for the full tax credit. Baxter Village 4th of July Parade II

On Saturday, July 4, 2009, the Carolina Realty Team of RE/MAX Metro joined the Baxter Village Parade in Fort Mill.  It was a fun time with lots of candy, decorations, and patriotic attire.  One of the Carolina Realty Team’s agents dressed up as Ben Franklin. It was quite a hit! We look forward to attending the parade next year. Fort Mill truly is a great place to live!
